Welcome to the Desert Fruit Foundation

In a country with an unemployment rate of close to 40%, corporate social responsibility becomes a vital element in addressing this issue and other social and environmental challenges that go with it.

Corporate Social Investment has evolved over the past years and no longer includes the community in which the business operates only. Companies have not only become accountable to their shareholders, but more importantly to their stakeholders which include customers as well as employees and these play a vital role in the growth and success of any company.

Desert Fruit Namibia not only acknowledges the role it plays in the greater community, but also its responsibility towards their employees and their dependants. We view our CSI role as an investment in a broad group of stakeholders and we thus aim at enriching the lives of the people we work with and who surround us here in the Far Southern part of Namibia.

There are numerous initiatives and success stories which we at Desert Fruit Namibia are extremely proud of and together with our employees we are delighted to share it with you:
